YOUNG farmers past and present
competed in the annual
ploughing match organised by
Amotherby YFC.
The event, which took took
place at Park Farm on the Castle
Howard Estates near Malton, N
Yorks, attracted 45 entries.
With the weather and the
land looking promising, it was
good to see so many enthusiastic
ploughmen young and old
taking part.
The judges for the day were: P
Monkman, S Allenby, T Harrison, D
Reed and B Pearson. Their lunches
were provided by Jill Harrison.
